Payment Policy:

It is our practice policy to give patients full information about the cost of their dental work before any treatment is undertaken. A written estimate and treatment plan will be provided where appropriate.

We accept all major debit and credit cards including American Express; pease note that a 1.5% surcharge may apply onj credit card transactions.

Patients are kindly requested to pay for any scheduled item of treatment on the day, and before entering the treatment room.

We reserve the right to charge an administration fee on outstanding accounts.

Please inform the practice executive manager Miss Yolande Wilkin if you have any difficulty making payments.

Cancellation charge:

If you would like to cancel an appointment, please do so at least 24 hours before your appointment, short notice cancellations may be subject to a late cancellation charge.

Emergency appointments (For registered patients only)

Please ring the practice at 8:45 a.m if you have a problem, we can normally see you the same day, or the next day at most.

Emergency call out service is also available, there is no call out charge for the members of the SMILE LINCS CARE PLAN. A call-out charge of £104.00 applies for all other patients.

Non-registered patients:

We can provide emergency treatment for non-registered patients ONLY IF there are spaces in the appointment book. A visit charge of £25 applies, excluding any treatment charges.

Out of hours service is subject to a call-out charge of £104 for non-registered patients (excluding any treatment charges).

Missed appointments:

Missed appointments not only waste the dentist’s time but also deny other patients the chance to be seen. Please ensure that you keep your scheduled appointment, as a charge will be incurred for appointments that are missed without a reasonable excuse. Our current rate is £220 per hour.
